Visiting Toronto during the TIFF week is always a great experience to remember
First of all you get to see world class celebrities arriving at the Toronto airport and flooding the city for one of the most prestigious and greatest Independent Film Festivals of the year.
Second, of all you can feel the vibe of a high pace city who is expanding and becoming an empire for Music, Graphic Design, Films, T.V, Fashion and much, much, more.
This year was no exception for the Toronto Independent Film Festival, also known as the TIFF. it is hard to believe but most films nominated for the TIFF, are very often nominated for the Oscars and the Golden Globes.
I do not know about you guys but I love independent films over big Box Office productions. For sure the Box Office films have amazing special effects and break ticket sales every year. But what about watching a film that has a great plot, outstanding performances and twisted endings. Yeah! You guys know what I am up to now days.
Good dramas, epic movies, LGTB’s stories, adapted scripts and autobiographies brought to the big screen, always turn up to be the most successful at the award shows.
This year the TIFF, had a variety of nominated movies and the actors and actresses flying to the city was just wow!
The TIFF runs from the 4th of September to the 14th. Celebrities like: Al Pacino, Jane Fonda, Tina Fey, Naomi Watts, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Aniston, Denzel Washington, and many more rocked the red carpet in Toronto while a mob of wild fans waited for them. (I am one of those mad fans as well)
Here are some of the best movies featured at the Festival this year
