Do we live in fear or just simple silence?
Are we scared to speak up and open up our mind?
Why is it that we follow the same cookie pattern that everyone else does?
Are we having our brains completely washed by major corporate companies and their fake entrepreneur “wannabes”?
Have you asked yourself why?
so have I?
There is no question that in order to go to the top of the pyramid and succeed in your field, one must battle all those “haters” and “bad vibes” or even the so “intense messed up energy” we get from other people.
I will give you an example:
Picture Mr. XXX OR BOB..Whichever you like the most.
He Wakes up every morning to go to work to his “call center job,” he drives downtown thinking.. “Oh yes, today i will get paid my amazing $15 – $20 dollars an hour and all I have to do is talk to the public and take care of their needs.”
How does it sound?
Do you think you can be satisfy for the rest of your life by doing this?
why not? it sounds like a simple, regular job. No?
Now, Mr. XXX, finishes his shift around let’s say 5 pm, he actually had a horrible day, since the Q was so busy because people have nothing better to do than to call and bitch about nothing. Yeah, you heard me, “Nothing.”
After work he goes to the local bar, drinks 3 beers, talks to random people, goes home says hello to the wife an kids, watches the lies on the news.
(Which we all know by now are a whole bunch of Photoshop and Special Effects… plus a lot of Bull***.)
Gets up the next day at 6 AM, to do the same agonizing routine all over again.
Things like having and paying your bills online, so you are able to transfer money and make your own payments, are now someone else’s tasks. You know what I mean?
If you don’t get it…WELL, Let me break it down for you.. Now days, society has become so lazy that companies need to hire people because the wealthy do not feel like doing things on their own, but instead they rather just make a phone call, “God Knows Where?” and have some one else do it for them.
Ironic? No, we have all done this at one point. We depend on each other for our everyday errands. Sometimes, I will say we abuse each other too much!
There is no shame on doing a job that pays well. But what about your ambitions, goals, desire of go above and beyond in this world.
I mean, let’s be honest who wouldn’t like fame and money? or at least some recognition for what they do in modern North America.
Sure Doctors, Therapists, Psychologists they have all it figure it out. But what about YOU. YOU, my friend the “Aspiring Artist.”
Yup, it’s always harder for the creative mind.
Eventually you know the job you are doing is only so you won’t starve to death and get kicked out of your apartment. It won’t last forever, ’cause you have bigger aspirations n life and one day they will become true.
You need to dream big in order to become HUGE!
I am not trying to offend anyone by writing this article. I just felt like opening my mind a bit and sharing some thoughts with you guys. I know there is always someone out there in a corner, thinking and wondering the same.
For all of you upcoming and new Artists, Designers, Illustrators, Performers, Entertainers and Musicians… Don’t give up!
Don’t let anyone bring you down and tell you: “that you are not good enough.”
