It was a magnificent and exciting night at the 20th edition of the Bal en Blanc in Montreal, also known as the White Party.
The Bal en Blanc (French for White Party/Dance) took place last night Sunday April 20th/2014 at the Palais des congrès (Montreal’s Convention Center) and it featured top performances from international DJ’S like: Deep Dish, Carl Cox and Hardwell.
Anyone who has ever attended one of these events in a different city; most likely understands what I am writing about.
This year the Bal en Blanc easily brought over 15,000 dance music enthusiasts in two rooms with enough floor space to contain the huge crowd surrounded by massive screens, DJ’S and lightshows, at the Palais des congrès.
I walked in around 1 am and there was still a huge line of people trying to get in, (lucky me; I bought my tickets very early last year).
The crowd was sensational and the spellbinding light shows were tripping me out, I was able to see people from different countries. I even met a very nice couple who drove from New York just to come to the party.
I mean, what else is left to do during Eastern Weekend, right?
Event organizers always manage to throw the best trance-rave in the city around this time of the year.
I left the event around 11 am on Monday the 21st and there was still a gigantic amount of people raving and dancing all over the venue.
Once again this year’s White Party was a massive success.
Can not wait for the 2015’s Bal en Blanc to arrive!
A Must go Rave!
